This is largely used for light cleaning when physical, chemical cleaning is completed and during the last clean work. It is mostly used for LCD glass, and also used to clean probes, sockets, etc. It is used to increase the surface energy of optical films instantly and then enhance the adhesive strength. It is used to treat the surface of mechanisms and disinfect air and water.

Characteristics of UV Lamps for Cleaning/Reforming
- Because various organic impurities are attached to the surface of semiconductor, LCD, OLED, and optical and lead frames and have an adverse effect on the product conclusively, they must be removed for sure.
- For UV lamps for removing organic matter and reforming surfaces, organic matter with 50 to 100mm in width can be decomposed.
- Organic impurity films with several hundred Å or less in thickness can be effectively removed by the organism-removing lamp.
