GENERAL
Optiplex XE3 (Small Form Factor type, SFF and Mini Tower type, MT) PCs are type approved for marine usage by ABS, BV, DNVGL, KR, LR, NK, CCS when they are used in conjunction with TD Kits. They are also IACS E10&IC60945 approved for a wheel-house/bridge installation.
Optiplex XE3 PCs are made by Dell and TD Kits by Tetradyne. TD Kits are designed for protection against vibration and shock caused by marine environments surrounding in vessels and offshore constructure. The kits allow users to install the PCs in safe & reliable fixation where they want to install.
There are 3 types of TD kits. For XE3 MT, there are TVK-XE3-TH (horizontal installation) and TVK-XE3-TV (vertical installation). For XE3 SFF, there is TVK-XE3-SH (horizontal installation)
The combination (XE3 + TD Kits) can be efficiently used in various marine applications such as controlling, monitoring, loading, detecting, networking, etc.
