TSR (Traffic Sign Recognition) System

This driver friendly system recognizes speed limit signs from the road images previously recorded in the front camera and provides speed information of the road the vehicle is driving on.

TSR, The Traffic Sign Recognition system provides the driver with the information on the speed limit on the road the vehicle is running by recognizing the traffic sign related to the speed limit sign from the video recorded on the front camera

Function

- Inform the driver of the speed limit sign on the road regardless of whether it is daytime or nighttime to prevent speeding violations.
- A video pattern recognition technology applied using CMOS (to locate the sign and judge its type)
- Compare I/F signals inside the vehicle with the current speed and activate the alarm when speeding. (An example of application) Able to be converged with the control system to expand the speed control system for automatic prevention of speeding
- Transmit and receive data and conduct a self-diagnosis using CAN communication
