BMS : Battery Management System
- It maintains the safety of the battery cell that supplies the electricity for the automotive systems and the credibility of the used amount.
- It calculates the charged volume real time using the State of Charge (SOC) algorithm.
- It manages the charging status by preventing excessive charging or discharging, and at the same time, stables the operation of the automotive system by monitoring the voltage, current, and temperature of the vehicle.
SOC (State of Charge) prediction algorithm
The function of the SOC algorithm mainly aims to extend the duration of the battery and controls the stage of charge (SOC) by receiving the information on three factors, including the current, voltage, and temperature of the battery. On top of that, we have conducted research on minimizing
the error of the SOC calculation by analyzing the resistance inside the battery and the output value.
Dispersal BMS technology
The dispersal BMS technology measures the voltage of each cell module unlike the existing all-in-one type board at the control/power sensing areas.
This enables the use of a separable pack, which makes it easy to downsize or expand the cells.
