HIPAX THE FIEXIBLE AXIAL FLOW FAN
The HIPAX fans are compact and strudy, serially produced adjustable pitch axial flow fans, developed by our own R&D Center after years of engineers.
The HIPAX computer selection program ensures the correct fan type and size to suit the required air quantity, pressure, operating economy, and sound level.
HIPAX is suited for a large number of air handing applications in land and marine installations : Commercial, industrial, process and environment ventilation.
Distinguishing features of HIPAX are space economy, easy installation and high reliability in operation
- Rotor
The HIPAX rotor consists of two assembled hub discs with cavities to house the blades at preset but adjustable angles. One of the hub discs has a cast hub boss for the motor shaft. The rotor (the impeller)and the motor are installed in a fan casing available in different shapes.
- Motor
The motors are asynchronous standard, motors, 50Hz or 60Hz and may be thyristor controlled MXDN, MXD and HGC have flanged motors, whereas type AWA, AKA, HAC and CLC/ CHC have a foot-mounted motor.
- Blade adjustment
The blade pitch may be adjusted to obtain different performances, In that case the motor output should be known and the rotor carefully aligned and balanced before stating. The blades of the rotor is normally factory assembled to any angle between 25 and 55, dependent on size and speed.
- Corrosion classification
The HIPAX fans are designed as standard for operation in unheated, low-corrosive environments according to Danish and international standards.
- Axial Flow Fan Selection Table
Axial flow fans are widely used for marine and offshore installations, They are manufactured in various designs according to the specific requirements for the intended installation and application.
The axial flow fans of AWA, AQ and HCA Type can be produced from 0.17m3 / s to 66.67 m3/s with static pressure from 98.1 pa to 1471.5 pa. The nominal diameter of the axial flow fans are available from 300mm to 2,000 mm.
Axial Flow Fan
| - AWA For direct installation in duct systems, Supplied with an impeller with adjustable pitch, marine grade aluminum alloy blades, direct coupled to a motor. The fan housing and flanges are in heavy plate in accordance with the requirement of international classification society. |
- AKA For direct installation in duct systems. Supplied with an impeller with adjust-able pitch. marine grade aluminum alloy blades direct coupled to a motor, and easy access for motor servicing. The fan housing & flanges in heavy plate.
- ACA For direct supply or exhaust at duct end, for instance, in engine rooms requiring a high rate of air flow at lower pressure.
- MINA | |
- HCA | |
- MWC | |
- PVA Fore direct exhaust through wall or bulkhead, relatively small capacity with low pressure. |
- CLC/CHC Centrifugal fans types CLA and CHC are light-weight, compact, low pressure fans with high efficiency designed for universal installation. They are threrfore well suited for marine or industrial ventilation and air conditioning system Where economic operation and a low sound are important factors. The impeller is made of broad, backward curved blades.
- TTF Type TTF, turbo fan is available diameter from 280mm to 1400mm. Backward curved blades may be coupled directly or by v-belt and pulleys |
