Tunable Laser

Description
ChemOptics Tunable TOSA is based on external cavity laser combined with the polymer waveguide grating. It is designed for use in WDM systems and where the capability to change wavelength on demand over C-band with 100 GHz channel spacing is essential. It is particularly suitable to WDM-PON systems which need low cost and colorless optical source.
Using thermo-optic effect of polymer, it can be tuned more than 13 nm with a data rate up to 2.5 Gbps.
