System Description

SMT FIRE STOP SYSTEM-07 is a flexible, graphite based intumescent system. The unique intumescent property of this material means that as pipes and cables are consumed by fire, the intumescent expands to fill in the voids around and between plastic pipes, forming a tight seal that helps prevent the spread of fire, deadly smoke and other byproducts of combustion. The system also helps retard the transmission of heat.
