Traction Motor

- The driving motor of a hybrid vehicle drives solely on an EV drive mode (with its engine stopped) in the initial stage of driving, and it assists with the driving power of the engine when accelerating or propelling to go uphill. An electric vehicle, without an engine, generates the driving power only with the driving motor. It also controls the driving motor with its power generator when reducing the speed or braking, and recollects the energy in the form of an electricity to charge the built-in battery.
