Types of surface treatment 
1. Phosphate Treatment 
 Customers want steel sheets for painting only phosphate is treated after cleansing.Workability may decrease because of depleted skin friction coefficient. 
2. Chromate Treatment 
 Chromate treatment delays and precludes the occurrence of white rust during storage and handling. 
 Chromate treated sheets must be immediately dried when exposed to moisture. 
 Special care is need when drawing due to lack of anti-fingerprint treatment. 
3. Anti-Fingerprint Treatment 
 To prevent any flawed products turn out from mishandling, organic film is applied which enhances workability 
4. Non-treatment 
 No treatment is done, thus it is impossible to guarantee the deterrence of white rust. It is advisable to use the product right on delivery.
