Due to the environmental regulations and exhaust gas regulations such as EURO-V, EPA 10, and the like, the high power of an engine, and the improvement of mileage have become core technology tasks. In order to enable the high power, since a material of the engine is especially required to have high rigidity and a reduced thickness, it is difficult to apply an existing grey iron material as a cylinder block material and a cylinder head material because the existing grey iron material is damaged due to high combustion pressure. CJENG Co., LTD. succeeded in developing the technology for manufacturing a CGI cylinder head and cylinder block for a high power engine having a tensile strength of 400~450 MPa, which can be used even under a combustion pressure (Pmax) of 220 Bar or more, thereby taking an initiating role in improving engine performance according to the demand of customers.
