Founded in 1989, Woo Ri started connector manufacturing business to produce general purpose connectors. However, from mid 1990's, we recognized that large old-line connector manufacturers had increasingly focused on large-volume low-margin items and, as a result, a void had been created in supplying custom connectors for new and more sophisticated technology products. Since then, we have been reshaping our strategy to establish a profitable niche developing state-of-art specialty connectors in time-intensive design cycle by our "FAST TURN PROGRAM", in order to meet the unique requirements of customers who have needs for custom connectors to be designed and produced in a minimum amount of time.
Woo Ri's ability to design and produce custom connectors in as little as 6~8weeks (vs. 14 or more weeks for globalized large suppliers) has carved out a powerful niche for itself by offering a complete program of rapid design, engineering, tooling, molding and assembly services for custom connectors with critical performance requirements and has yielded an impressive stream of high margin contracts for high quality custom connector, with incomparable capabilities in sophisticated component and design engineering with vertically integrated molding and tooling facilities.
This turnkey capability has allowed Woo Ri to provide OEMs with new custom connectors in less time than required by large competitors ---resulting in more consultings and contracts manufacturers and other cutting-edge technology companies.
