Wavenics Esp

Wavenics was founded in April, 2004 by Prof. Young-Se Kwon as a spin-off company from KAIST(Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology). The company is involved in developments of components and modules for wireless and LED Lighting systems. Their core competency stems from a variety of patented or patent-pending technologies on which they develop their products.

For instance, Wavenics, "Smart Aluminum Substrate Technology(Smart Al®)" is gaining acceptance from companies producing LED module and/or high frequency RF component, as a viable solution that achieves high-density integration of various passive and active devices. This product, in terms of wireless communication systems including mobile handset product, enables a dramatic reduction in parts count, lowering the total system cost, efficient inventory management, and provides higher reliability. In addition to the "Smart Aluminum Substrate Technology(Smart Al®)", high-power LED Module has been developed using a patented technology which enables heat generated from LED to be directly dissipated through substrate.
