Wave Electronics was founded on October 13, 1999 under the name “Wave Telecom Corporation”. It changed its corporate name to Wave Electronics on September 8, 2009.
Since its founding in 1999, it has contributed to the establishment of Korea`s wireless telecommunications infrastructure.
SK Telecom, KTF, LG Telecom, and other mobile telecommunication companies were able to provide a reliable high-quality service by utilizing over 30,000 Wave Electronics` power amplifier units. Furthermore, Wave Electronics has supplied amplifiers for Wi-Bro to KT and SKT since 2005. Consequently, Wave Electronics is now considered the leading power amplifier supplier in South Korea.
