Starting as a joint-stock company in July 1987, Samkwang established SKW Inc. in March 2003 by joint venture agreement with an American firm Wallner Tooling, resulting in a dual system with SKE Inc. As its business expanded rapidly in a short period since then, Samkwang established SKWALLNER Inc. in 2004, a largest expanded metal manufacturer in the world.
