PROTEM is a technology-oriented Venture Business that is specialized in  converting machinery. Our all executives and staffs have worked in the manufacturing process and equipment production of various industrial packaging films, protective films and adhesive tapes during over twenty years and are equipped with the accumulated experience and technology in converting equipment. 

Our products are slitter-rewinder, coater, laminator, winder, sheet cutter, electro-deposition machine and machine for factory automation. We supply these to the leading companies in Korea and export to 17 countries abroad including U.S.A, China, Japan and Brazil.

Recently we have seen an exponentially increasing need for functional high-molecular films in IT and  have concentrated on developing converting technology for optical polarized film and electronic condensor film. In this field,we became the leading company in Korea.

We have already developed the technology to slit the 9m wide-width web, to slit at the 1,200m/min high-speed and to control the tension from unltra-thin film of 1.2 microns to 400 microns web. We have also been working with our mechanical R&D Center to develop an 1,500m/min high-speed slitter and a polarized film coater.
