Since Oriental precision & Engineering was established back in 1980, it has always belived that creating trust with the clients should have been the priority; so servce its client and bring them the best quality products, the company has ceaselessly endeavored to become the industry's best master shipbuilder.

During the infancy, the company started out by manufacturing simple iron fittings; but the men and women of Oriental Precision & Engineering have kept challening themselves to grow and to be creative. Soon the company was designing and manufacturing the ship machineries, ship superstructures, and the offshore structure support vessels.

The Company's Ship Machiner Business Division desgins and construct the cranes and the davits in its 6 acre manufacturing facility in Busan. Today Oriental Precision and Engineering is the world's largest producer of ship machineries, pumping out some 1,100 cranes, 50 deck machineries and 400 boat davits every year. Oriental Precision & Engineering will not idle in content just yet - it is researching actively and investing resolutely to enter the offshore structure machinery market.

Oriental's Superstructure Divsion was the foundaiton of the company's growth. The division manufactures the deck houses, the funnels, and the engine room casings in its 30 are facility in Jinhae. Since Oriental delivered its first deck house in 1994, the company has been improving the quality, has accumulated the technical know-how, and has gained the trust from its clients, while completing many production projects. And in June 2009, Oriental Precision & Engineering's 1000th deck house was delivered to its client, and it was another world first for the company.

Starting from 2007, Oriental Precision & Engineering has begun a full scale offshore structure special purpose vessel operation. Since then the company has constructed and delivered accomodation barges, heavy cargo carriers, and deck boxes for the clients in India, Singapore, Indonesia, and in Europe. With the experiences the company has gained from building many offshore operation support vessels, Oriental's engineers are working hard to provide more economical, more efficient support vessel solutions in the future.

For the last thirty years, Orietnal Precision & Engineering has overcome many challenges and obstacles, and in the proceess, the company has become Korea's number one producer of ship and marine components and machineries. That is a significant statement, considering Korea's statues as the world leader in shipbuilding business. As Oriental Precision & Engineering has demonstrated in the past, it's pursuit of perfection will continue, and men and women at Oriental will continue to work diligently to show the world their potential, and to introduce to the world the better, innovative shipbuilding solutions.
