Since its establishment in 1976, Kumkang has been producing high-quality steel wire products for highways, nuclear power plants, large buildings and so forth. In particular, Kumkang has been developing its own technologies for deck plates, structural welded steel nets, and rectangular and mattress gabions, all-the-while maintaining international quality standards.
We have been contributing to domestic industrial development, and were thus selected as a prospective small and medium business, as well as being designated as a modernizing business site.
In addition we acquired the KS marts and received the Korean President’s Award in recognition our contribution to the industrial development of Korea. At present, this organization comprises 130 companies specializing in welded steel nets, stone nets and gabions, and currently plays the role of effective additional service environment implementation and community.
