KNJ took its first step in 2005, specializing automation equipment for semiconductor and flat panel display manufacturing. With the unceasing support and consideration of our customers, KNJ has grown and developed into a company now looking forward to its tenth anniversary. The Edge Grinder and Edge Inspector, both signature products of KNJ, has sold over 100 units, securing its position as a steady overseas-export product for five consecutive years. Moreover, through continuous technological exchanges with our customers, we have come to possess a more specialized and advanced upper and lower related equipment networks, acquiring from scribers to equipment for LCD FAB process finishing as all sales achievement products. 

Furthermore, since 2010, we have broken out of our own box limited to broadening the structure only in the equipment industry and expanded into the area of LCD industry-related consumables. As a result, we have successfully developed the SIC metalized graphite carrier parts, an essential group of consumables when metalizing saffire wafers, the raw material of LED, in ultra high temperature, and have been registered and active as the official parts supplier of the Samsung LED Department since then. To us, this is a result made possible by our customers who have given us warm support for our challenges and constructive criticisms to lead us to better directions. 

The rapidly changing market trend is at the same time a crisis and change for us. It is a task for innovation and leap in terms of development activities and rethinking productivity, and we are faced with the obligation to meet our customer’s needs for continuous improvement by reorganizing and integrating internal capacities. One of the things we keep in mind when we meet with our customers and employees is that KNJ is a ‘young company.’ This declaration is not about how many or less years we have lived but about an objective state of thinking and acting. It is something that a company like us, an equipment and parts enterprise, being responsible for one significant portion of the technology-intensive IT industry, should not forget. We believe that being and staying a young company is the technological vision, reasonable optimism, and power to execute upgraded with speed, in the climate yet to come. Especially, the objective standard of state of ‘youth’ in terms of leading the present would be reaction speed. We will actively react to the changes in the market with our quick reflex, confidence for change, and our executive abilities.
