We have been doing our best for development of core parts and localization of products, Our efforts, research and development have come to fruition to succeed in developing Peltier heating type column oven for chromatograph , valve switching, solvent gradient pump which can perform analysis of size smaller than ppb, also sorting and automatic sample injector. These developments make it possible to develop not only automated liquid chromatography system but new concept quantitative and qualitative analytical system by own local technology. At present, HPLC, IC, GPC, Preparative-LC, together with column oven and auto sampler have received good reputation from market.
Solvent gradient pump secured the world best flow rate (<0.01%, Gradient flow rate : < 200ul/min), stability and accuracy. Automatic sample injector for automation of sample analysis has ensured the best reproducibility in the world to have competitiveness against worldwide analytical instruments. This product was developed by own local technology for the first time, and having superior function and compatibility, therefore we are expecting it will bring us growth of sales.

So far, we have succeeded in developing bio trap - HPLC system which enables analytical study without pre-treatment of sample, prep LC system with which automatic on-line sample injection can be made, two dimension-HPLC system for quantitative, qualitative analysis of small amount ingredient using analysis method set-up program. Following this, we are planning to commercialization of this. Since this is of next generation, new concept, it will be leading product in chromatography industry.

It is expected to enter into world market in the near future, as per import substitution demand and request for agent from overseas, owing to launching new product which applied differentiated new technology.
Import of foreign analytical instrument has been increased continuously year by year. Most of analytical instruments asking high price, from several ten thousands to several hundreds thousands dollars and approximately 1.2 trillion KRW is imported. Because of this, it is forecasted that profitability of instrument due to dependence on overseas products becomes main issue of analytical instrument industry. Technology of local analytical instruments is still in its infancy, that is , only simple general-purpose instrument like dry oven, culture medium or temperature/humidity chamber is produced by small business. Especially poor field of local manufacturer of instrument is analytical instruments. We can not deny the fact that development of analytical instrument seems to be wasteland because of limits of technology.

In this situation of local analytical instrument market, FUTECS Co., Ltd. has fulfilled development of core parts, mechanism of analytical instruments and localization of instruments, which may secure domestic market and compete with imported foreign products, through continuous invest on research and development and by our own technology. Developed products enjoy the dominant position in functionality, accuracy, precision and reproducibility in comparison with worldwide products. 
We can find our way out from importing country of foreign analytical instrument, only when there are more and more local companies that are equipped with their own technology and competitiveness in bio-technology analytical instrument. 
Also, it is possible to reduce foreign trade deficit by localization of high tech products, substitution of import and export owing to price competitiveness.
