In the ever fiercely competitive global market for high pressure compressor, in which the high value-added vessel development and production also require highly advanced competitiveness, Bumhan industries Co., Ltd., has certainly been gearing up in each area of the two categories of underwater-compressors (for vessel`s main engine and gas turbine start-up equipment, marine equipment and drilling lines in undersea expedition) and inland- compressors (for high-voltage current-circuit breaker of power transmission and distribution equipments, ultra high-pressure breathing air compressor, power plant equipments including nuclear power plant`s, and aerospace equipment experiments)

In particular, a new type of high pressure air compressor, developed and produced by Bumhan industries Co., Ltd., features its own innovative technology, which would open a new era in Korean high pressure air compressor market, and has acquired KT mark for “High Pressure Compressor Technology with Combined Cycles” from Korean government and has been certified for the compressor`s low vibration, less noise, high performance, reliability & durability, and structural stability. Also, it has acquired EM mark for “High Pressure Air Compressor”, providing and assuring its superior quality once again.

Our active business sectors largely include naval projects and shipbuilding as well as industrial development, and we have rapidly been growing alone with our product diversification keeping pace with all changes in demand. In the naval projects, as a result of our conservative and consistent approach towards our products, deliberate efforts to minimize maintenance works, and continuous product developments in an attempt to enhance our reliability, we have continuously been supplying highly trusted quality compressors and air systems to the South Korean Navy and maintaining our close partnership to this day.

Furthermore, since its establishment in the field of shipbuilding, we have been supplying high technology and quality air compressors to various customers ranging from small and medium-sized shipyards to the four major shipyards in Korea. In addition, we have focused on manufacturing and supplying high pressure compressors for air & gas and have been designing, manufacturing, and supplying special purpose air compressors for the gas circuit breakers in the power plants and substations of Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO). Also, the high performance of our products has well been recognized by the nuclear power plants of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co. which is known for its strict regulations for high efficiency and reliability.
